Assistance with credit business
When working for the Guernsey Financial Services Commission Chris Le Marchant gained several years experience reviewing loan books of offshore banks. We can offer an outside perspective to banks when they are considering the risks in particular credit proposals. We can also offer periodic or ad hoc reviews of credit books with a view to recommending enhancements to the credit process or to help in preparation for credit reviews by regulators.
We can assist in responding to regulators’ findings from credit reviews.
Advice can also be given on large exposures and on submitting large exposure reports to regulators.
Le Marchant can review the procedures and controls in place in a bank’s credit approval process and can make recommendations to enhance credit processes.
